1st day of PreK

Boy oh boy, have we been waiting a while for this day to come! Don't worry, I won't always look this good when I drop Hannah off...wow, "mascara", heard of it?
B
Excited much?!?

Of course...

Headin' in!
Putting her things in her cubby with Ms. Sena
The NAMETAG is ON. At this point, she was holding my and a liiiiitle tighter:)
Kickoff topic with peers: how many pets they each had:)
My last view as I'm walking out the door. Got a little lump in my throat! This is going to be a fantastic thing for me Hannah. The "highlights" of the first day:

"a puppet show where the puppets were doing silly fighting"
"sitting on a really fancy pink rug with letters and number in squares"
"THREE recessess"
"lunch: mac and cheese, pineapple, green beans, and carrots"
nap time. Hannah said "after I did my work I was EXHAUSTED."
When I asked what her favorite part of the day was Hannah said "Mrs. Riley and Ms. Sena." BOO YEAH! Go Hannah go!

...and then there were three

G&G Walbruch!

Guess who came to town?!? Grammie and Grandpa! How we look forward to their visits!
We even squeezed in a day-trip to Myrtle Beach!

Two weeks later and I'm still cleaning up sand:)

Hannah June is quite the little poser these days...

Lots of seashells to be collected...each one more rare and exquisite than the last!
Reagan and Grammie enjoying a little R&R

Mecham Visit

It was so fun to see Liisa and her little clan this summer!
Of course we had to hit the trampoline/sprinklers action!

We also made s'mores in the nice cool summer afternoon. Wha?

Everyone had to get their fingers and toes painted by the One and Only Liisa. I hope her husband and kids know how incredibly lucky they are to have her!!!
