Moving to the Tarheel State

Well, it's official!...actually, not quite, but close enough. Nate received the unofficial job offer at Monroe Early College High School in Monroe, NC, as a 9-12 Social Studies Teacher. The only thing left to do before they can offer him the contract is to have the school board approve him (which apparently they always do). That will happen Monday. I'm so excited for Nate to begin his education career. And we're so excited to be moving to beautiful NC - now all we have to do is sell this house. Ugh....not even a single offer yet.

  3. Ash! That is so exciting! Congrats to you and your family... what an exciting time. The housing market is so frustrating right now, but good luck and can't wait to hear more about NC.

  4. We are the luckiest people in this situation to have Nate, Ashley and Hannah moving about 1.5 hours from us in the great Tarheel state! Look out Swedish meatballs and family parties with the Walburchs and Mechams aka Richins-Londons! Courtney can't wait to meet her cousin Hannah. It will be so fun for them to play together (when they are able to play) And Kirill and Alex will take care of both of them.

We are SO, SO happy to welcome you to the Tarheel state!
